Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

Stocksbridge High School in an inclusive school and through a range of curriculum and wrap-around support do all we can to ensure every young person, irrespective of their challenges and barriers has opportunity to grow into a happy and productive adult. Since the pandemic, there has been a national shift in attendance and the well-being of young people, and we are looking for a candidate to build on our current, successful structures and systems to continue to meet these emerging needs.

We are looking to recruit a strategic, dynamic, innovative, passionate and proven leader to lead Stocksbridge High School on the next stage of its journey. This could be an existing and experienced Headteacher or a talented and ambitious Deputy Headteacher who is looking for their next challenge.

The successful candidate will have:

• the ability to implement and secure change successfully
• excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to lead and inspire colleagues
• a passion and drive for improvement
• experience of growing quality educational provision to meet the needs of the community
