Summary

Production Operative (Manufacturing)

Exeter | £16.39 per hour (starting rate) | Friday-Monday | Ongoing Contract | Immediate Starts Available

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for Production Operatives to join a leading manufacturing company based in Exeter. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a background in manufacturing or production, although full training will be provided for the right individuals.

Key Details

  • Working hours: 6am-2pm (Monday and Friday), 6am-6pm (Saturday and Sunday)

  • 38-hour working week over four days

  • Ongoing contract with potential for permanent employment

  • Starting rate: £16.39 per hour

  • Opportunity to progress through a grading system with pay increases once fully trained

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate production machinery safely and efficiently

  • Maintain quality and accuracy in all work undertaken

  • Follow health and safety procedures at all times

  • Work effectively as part of a team to meet production targets

  • Carry out general production and assembly duties as required

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (preferred but not essential)

  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Good level of written and spoken English

  • Flexible and reliable approach to work

  • Team-oriented with a strong work ethic

  • Awareness of health and safety standards
