We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Human Resources Co-ordinator to join a busy and supportive HR team. This is a varied, hands-on role at the centre of people operations, ideal for someone who enjoys responsibility, accuracy, and involvement in a wide range of HR activities.The successful candidate will provide high-quality HR coordination and administrative support to senior HR leadership, ensuring HR records, systems, and processes are accurate, compliant, and delivered to a consistently high standard. Working within a regulated care and education environment, attention to detail, sound judgement, and discretion are essential.
Your new role
- Provide proactive administrative and coordination support to senior HR leaders.
- Maintain accurate, compliant employee records, ensuring data protection standards are consistently met.
- Coordinate probation processes, including issuing reminders, tracking progress, and preparing confirmation letters.
- Monitor and manage the HR mailbox, responding to queries and escalating matters appropriately.
- Process employee leavers and associated documentation.
- Carry out annual driving licence checks and upload manager car insurance documentation.
- Coordinate ID badge issue as part of the induction process.
- Support PVG and DBS applications, renewals, monitoring, and overseas checks.
- Assist with onboarding file completion during peak periods or holiday cover.
- Complete employment references for former employees.
- Endorse professional registration applications where required.
- Conduct exit interviews and share insights with HR management.
- Take accurate meeting notes and circulate actions.
- Log appraisals and support appraisal tracking.
- Monitor visa expiry dates and alert HR leadership.
- Track professional registrations and compliance requirements.
- Support file compliance for employees moving to bank, sabbaticals, or career breaks.
- Assist with HR data cleansing, audits, and compliance checks.
- Provide reception cover during annual leave periods when required.

- Highly organised and able to prioritise tasks and manage competing deadlines.
- Works confidently and methodically, using good judgement and a structured approach.
- Excellent attention to detail and comfortable working with systems, data, and records.
- Communicates clearly and professionally with managers, colleagues, and external bodies.
- Values confidentiality, accuracy, and professionalism.
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive, can-do attitude and takes ownership of work.
- Keen to learn, develop, and build a career within HR.
- Desirable: Previous HR or administrative experience in a regulated environment.
