Summary

EYFS Practitioner | Dedicated Early Years Support

Are you a nurturing and qualified EYFS Practitioner looking for a stable and fulfilling role? We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic practitioner to join our dedicated Early Years team. This is a chance to work exclusively with our youngest learners, utilizing your passion for play-based learning and early child development.

The Role

The core focus of this position is to support the learning and development of children within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS - ages 3-5). You will work as a key member of the team, supporting the delivery of engaging, play-based activities, observing and recording children's progress against the EYFS framework, and acting as a Key Worker for a small group of children.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for nurturing, patient, and dedicated individuals who:

  • Holds a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, or equivalent.

  • Have recent, relevant experience working in an EYFS or Nursery setting.

  • Possesses strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Statutory Framework.

  • Are excellent communicators and adept at working collaboratively with parents and staff.

  • Are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Key Responsibilities

You will assist the class teacher in planning and setting up the indoor and outdoor learning environment, deliver engaging, play-based activities tailored to individual needs, observe, and document children's progress, act as a Key Worker, and contribute to the overall smooth running of the EYFS unit.
