Patient Service Advisor
Location: Rochdale, Greater Manchester
Salary: £12.21 per hour, paid weekly - every Friday
Contract: Full time, temporary to permanent opportunity
Our client a specialist provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions. Their aim is to make collaborate with the NHS and better patient care and services by offering a diverse array of specialist medical and healthcare services and treatments and diagnostics.
As a Patients Service Advisor you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by handling inbound and outbound calls. You will assist patients with a variety of enquiries, resolve issues, and provide accurate information regarding their wide range of medical services. The role requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a strong commitment to patient care.
Key duties:
Working on a rota basis between Monday - Sunday, opening hours of 8am-8pm with reduced hours of 8am-1pm on weekends. Please see an example rota below:

Key duties:
- Handle inbound and outbound calls from patients regarding booking or managing their service appointments or additional follow up treatments or care
- Address customer concerns, troubleshoot problems, and provide solutions in a timely and professional manner.
- Liaise with patients to encourage attendance
- Accurately document patient interactions, feedback, and follow-up actions where required
- Strive to meet performance targets to enhance personal development
- Uphold a professional, friendly, and empathetic attitude when interacting with patients and colleagues
- Maintain and ensure observation of robust quality assurance measures to meet national standards.
- Previous experience within a customer focused role; open to backgrounds in sales, contact centre, health and medical, telecoms, hospitality, retail and aviation.
- You'll be warm, friendly and positive in nature and pride yourself on excellent customer service
- Excellent written and verbal ability
- Someone who is approachable, dedicated and hardworking
- A people person - someone who enjoys working alongside and helping others
- Ability to handle sensitive conversations with empathy and resilience.
- Successful candidates will be required to provide and pass referencing

Salary:
- Offering £12.21 per hour, paid weekly every Friday
- Achievable bonus structure in place allowing you to earn between £225 - £1000+ per month on top of your normal salary.
