Summary
Deal with routine and general enquiries relating to stock and distribution made by phone or in person. Work effectively as part of a team in a multi-disciplinary and Pharmacy environment and maintain good communication with all staff listed under key relationships above. During busy periods, to assist the Pharmacy Technician Specialist: Homecare Medicines & High Cost drugs in carrying out routine homecare medicines service activities such as raising homecare medicine Purchase Order (PO) using the pharmacy stock control system EMIS, with the relevant homecare providers, in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). To visit critical wards and departments on an agreed schedule to order stock (top-up). To assist with the review and maintenance of ward/department stock lists following approval by the ward/senior pharmacists.
