Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Trainee Assistant Manager at our clients popular brasserie in a remote location in the north highlands.
This is an exciting development opportunity for someone with a passion for hospitality, looking to progress into a supervisory role within a dynamic, guest-focused environment. You will work closely with the management team to support the day-to-day operations of this relaxed, seasonal dining venue, which prides itself on a field-to-fork ethos using the finest local produce, including meat from our own farm and fresh ingredients from our kitchen garden.
Key responsibilities will include:
-Assisting with team leadership, training, and motivation
-Ensuring exceptional guest service and smooth service delivery
-Supporting stock management, rota planning, and compliance with health & safety standards
-Contributing to menu development ideas and promotional activities
-Hands-on involvement in all aspects of front-of-house operations
The ideal candidate will have:
-Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting (supervisory experience is advantageous but not essential)
-A genuine enthusiasm for food, drink, and delivering memorable guest experiences
-Strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
-Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
