This role is based within the Achieving Permanence Team so the primary focus is upon care proceedings and achieving permanence for children and young people. The candidate needs to have significant experience of court work including the completion of assessments, developing care plans and giving evidence.
Flexible but may be 2 days in office at most.

This role will sit within the Corporate Parenting Service and specifically, the Achieving Permanence Team. Our ideal candidate will have the ability to work in an exciting, dynamic, and fast paced environment that focuses primarily upon care proceedings so that we can achieve permanence for our children in a timely way. You will possess excellent assessment and communication skills and be highly organised. Having the ability to form positive working relationships with families and legal professionals is essential in addition to experience in attending Court and completing care proceedings.
You will be part of a supportive team who are proud of the positive outcomes that are secured for children in our care. Central Bedfordshire Council has recently (April 2025) been graded as good by Ofsted.
