Job Title: Cover Supervisor – (Secondary)

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Cover Supervisor to join us to work at secondary school in Oldham. This is an exciting opportunity to work with secondary-aged pupils (11-16) You will be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects, ensuring students remain engaged and supported throughout the school day.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and deliver pre-prepared lessons across multiple subjects.
Manage classroom behaviour, ensuring a safe, calm, and inclusive environment for all students.
Support pupils in classes across various subjects, responding appropriately to challenging behaviours.
Maintain accurate records of student engagement and behaviour as required.
Work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning.
Person Specification:
Previous experience working with secondary pupils, ideally in an educational setting, is desirable.
Confident in managing challenging behaviour in a calm and professional manner.
Flexible, patient, and able to adapt to the needs of diverse learners.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow pre-prepared lesson plans accurately.
