Job description
Ashvaruda Varahi Amman Sakthi Peetam is the first Varahi Amman Temple in UK and Europe. Arulmighu Siva Muthumariamman Devasthanam celebrated its 15th Anniversary during the month of 28th September 2024.
We are looking for religious workers, who can assist our Head-priest and conducting Hindu Temple rituals such as Abishekam, Homam, Alangaram to all deities. Assisting the chief priest in officiating Weddings and special prayers for Family events at the Temple premises.
The Religious Worker should essentially know Vedic Mantras and Slogas and support the main priest while chanding and properly practices atleast for 2 years.
Assisting the main priests leading Hindu Pooja and prayers regularly in and out of the premises.
Proven experience in making flower garland, decorating the deities and preparing Holy foods for rituals offerings.
Assisting the chief priests during counseling and welfare support to the faith members.
Must assist our congregation in the achievement of their spiritual goals, to preach the Hindu doctrine and to perform religious prayers and ceremonies according to the Hindu Vedic way of life, Satviha foods and share insights about food during for specialised occasions for offerings.
Assisting the temple priest to perform the poojai /religious rites, duties and preparing Prasatham for the gods and devotees, making flower garland for Hindu god's statues. Recite Hindu religious songs and Bajan etc. It is essential that applicant must have relevant experience in working as a religious worker in temple.
All job applicants will needs to provide documentation, which demonstrates their eligibility to work in the UK.
You must have received the required religious coordination and training to conduct and assist all the Hindu (Saiva) religious duties.
Job Types: Temporary work, Full-time, (Maximum of 2 years Contact for International application. 3 years contract for Local Applicant)
Pay: National Minimum wages and per year
