Summary

Forklift Truck Driver

Location: Tewkesbury
Hours: Minimum 37.5 hours per week, 5 days over 7 (shift rota)
Salary: £13.17 per hour
Contract Type: Full-time, permanent

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced and safety-conscious Forklift Truck Driver to join a busy chilled warehouse team in Tewkesbury. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you'll play an important part in keeping operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts safely to move, load, and unload goods.

  • Support warehouse operations, including picking, stock rotation, and replenishment.

  • Maintain a clean, organised workspace and follow all safety procedures.

  • Check equipment daily and report any issues promptly.

  • Work efficiently to meet targets while keeping quality and accuracy high.

  • Assist the team with general warehouse duties as needed.

What We're Looking For

  • A valid Forklift Truck licence (Counterbalance or Reach).

  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience.

  • Good attention to detail and strong numeracy skills.

  • A positive, reliable, and 'can-do' attitude.

  • Flexibility to work shift patterns and meet deadlines.

  • Awareness of Health & Safety in a warehouse setting.

Desirable (but not essential)

  • Experience working in a chilled warehouse or food production environment.
