Summary

Industrial Wet Painter

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Wet Painter to join our client's team in a fast-paced production environment.

This role involves applying high-quality industrial paint finishes to a diverse range of products, from small valves through to 40’ containers. You will be required to work both independently and as part of a team while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Prepare components for painting, including cleaning, masking, and general surface preparation

  
  

• Mix paints accurately to the ratios specified in technical data sheets

  
  

• Apply industrial coatings in accordance with job specifications and quality requirements

  
  

• Operate a range of spray equipment, including airless, air-assisted, and conventional spray guns

  
  

• Inspect finished work to ensure compliance with coating specifications

  
  

• Complete all required job documentation and paint reports

  
  

• Work alongside in-house NACE inspectors during inspection and quality control processes

  
  

• Safely operate cranes to move and position components (license desirable but not essential)

  
  

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area

  
  

• Rotate between painting booths and areas as required by production demands

  
  

• Follow all health, safety, and company procedures at all times

  
  Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in industrial wet painting or a similar coatings role

    
    

  • Good understanding of surface preparation, paint mixing, and application techniques

    
    

  • Ability to read and follow technical data sheets and job specifications

    
    

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality finishes

    
    

  • Experience using cranes (advantageous but not mandatory)

    
    

  • Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
