O'Neill & Brennan are currently recruiting an experienced NPORS Traffic Marshall to oversee and control site traffic on a busy construction project in Bristol. This is a key safety-focused role, ensuring the safe movement of vehicles, plant, and pedestrians across the site.
Key Responsibilities (What a Traffic Marshall Does)
Control and manage vehicle and plant movements in and around the construction site

Use approved hand signals and communication methods to guide drivers safely
•
Oversee all reversing operations, ensuring blind spots are monitored at all times
•
Maintain clear pedestrian walkways and safe access/egress routes
•
Coordinate deliveries and collections entering and exiting the site
•
Liaise with plant operators, drivers, and site management to minimise risks
•
Enforce site traffic management plans and health & safety regulations
•
Identify, report, and challenge unsafe behaviour or hazards on site
ï¸ Requirements

Valid NPORS Traffic Marshal/Banksman certification

CSCS card (preferred)

Full PPE (hi-vis, boots, hard hat, gloves)

Previous on-site experience as a Banksman or Traffic Marshal

Confident communication and strong awareness of site safety
