Role Overview
The Domestic Print Manager is responsible for the operational and administrative management of the domestic print function, supporting licensed sports apparel programmes. The role focuses on cost control, order management, production planning, and delivery coordination, ensuring programmes are executed accurately and on time.
The position works across a portfolio of major sports licenses, including NBA, NFL, NHL, and Nike. An interest in sport and licensed apparel is desirable, as the role will interface with brand standards, key calendar moments, and time-critical launches.
Over time, the role will develop to include supplier relationship management, commercial negotiations, and support for production capacity expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Operational and administrative management
Raise and manage purchase orders in line with agreed pricing and terms
Create and maintain accurate cost sheets covering production and delivery costs
Build and manage production calendars aligned to key sporting events and retail deadlines
Develop and track critical paths to ensure timely execution
Maintain clear and accurate records for orders, costs, and delivery status
Coordination and delivery
Coordinate timelines across suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams
Act as the day-to-day operational contact for production partners
Support the smooth execution of licensed production programmes
Role development
Take increasing responsibility for supplier relationships and negotiations
Support the identification and onboarding of additional production partners
Candidate Profile
Experience in the apparel industry is essential
Any previous Buying experience is useful.
Highly organised, analytical, and detail-oriented
Strong experience in purchase order management, costing, and scheduling
Comfortable working to critical paths and fixed deadlines
Background in operations, production, or supply chain roles
Interest in sport and licensed apparel is desirable, with familiarity with leagues such as NBA, NFL, NHL, or major sports brands.
