We are looking for a confident and caring Baby Room Leader to lead our Jelly Babies (0-1) room. This is a hands on leadership role for someone who understands the importance of secure attachments, nurturing care and high-quality early- learning- while keeping smiles (and the occasional bubble machine) flowing.

Exciting opportunity due to expansion:
Job; Room Leader- Senior Early Years Practitioner Level 3 (Qualification must be full and relevant to be included in ratio - see Early Years qualification list)
Reports to; Tip Top Day Nursery Bilston Manager- Charliey, and Owners Lisa and Kate.
Length of probation period; Nine months
Location: Tip Top Day Nursery, Bilston.
What you'll be doing;
- Leading the day-to-day running of the baby room in line with the EYFS, Ofsted requirements and Nursery policies.
- Creating a calm, safe and stimulating environment where babies feel secure, happy and curious.
- Planning engaging, age-appropriate activities that support early development and individual needs
- Supporting key person responsibilities and ensuring strong attachments for every child
- Leading, mentoring and inspiring your team to deliver high quality care
- Using Famly to complete observations, assessments and learning journeys to a high standard
- Building positive, trusting relationships with parents and carers
- Ensuring safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies are followed at all times.

We expect all staff that we recruit to be professional at all times, caring, highly motivated and enthusiastic about their role when working in partnership alongside our team and with the children and families that we provide childcare for.
What we are looking for;
You'll be someone who:
- Holds a Level 3 Early Years Qualification (or above) recognised in the UK
- Has experience working in a Baby Room and ideally has had some leadership responsibility
-Has a sound understanding of the EYFS, Safeguarding and Ofsted expectations
-Is warm, patient, organised, and confident in leading a team, and working with other members of the management team
-Can balance professionalism with playfulness (yes, singing nursery rhymes is encouraged!)
-Communicates clearly with colleagues and parents
The role is subject to an enhanced DBS check, 2 satisfactory references and a valid Early Years qualification.
