Summary
The post holder will facilitate and support the expansion of peer support worker roles within the Trust. The role will include providing high quality supervision, training and employment support advice to peer support workers. The postholder will work alongside Trust Engagement and Operational Leads to identify peer support placements to promote experiential learning and skill development for those interested in seeking formal peer support roles in the Trust. The post holder will work with clinical teams to prepare them for the introduction of peer support workers and run information sessions to increase understanding of the role. The individual will also provide specialist peer support worker input into clinical service planning, development and evaluation.
