Summary
Treloar’s is a charity that provides outstanding education, therapy and care to physically disabled young people, and empowers them to live more independent and fulfilling lives.
We are seeking a detail-focused Senior Accounts Assistant to manage the day-to-day purchase ledger and bookkeeping processes within our Finance Department.
You will oversee purchase ledger activity, manage invoice processing and payments, supervise an Accounts Assistant, and act as a key point of contact for supplier and budget holder queries. You’ll ensure accurate posting, correct VAT analysis, timely payments, reconciliations, and compliance with Trust policies and financial controls.
The ideal candidate should have experience of working in Accounts and have a high-level knowledge of accounting. You will be highly organised, accurate, and confident working in a busy finance environment. You’ll have a good understanding of VAT, of electronic payments (BACS), and confidentiality, with strong IT skills including Excel and finance systems.
Salary: £27,289 per annum
Hours: 36.5 hours per week
