Job Title: Press Brake Setter / Operator

Hours: Monday - Friday: Day Shift
Salary: ?15.00 - ?16.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Brake Press Setter / Operator to join a busy and established manufacturing team based in Coventry. This hands-on role involves setting, operating, and planning production using brake press machinery to produce precision metal components to high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set and operate CNC brake press machines to meet production targets.
* Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy.
* Plan daily workloads and organise materials efficiently.
* Check completed parts for dimensional accuracy and quality compliance.
* Maintain equipment and ensure all work areas are clean and safe.
* Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production schedules.
* Support continuous improvement and efficient manufacturing processes.
Experience & Skills Required:
* Proven experience as a Brake Press Setter / Operator within a manufacturing or sheet metal environment.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Strong organisational and work planning skills.
* Keen attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
* Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
