Summary

KS1 SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Ancoats, Manchester
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Contract: Full-time

An inclusive and supportive primary school in Ancoats is seeking a dedicated and compassionate KS1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long term basis.

This role has a strong SEN focus and will involve providing targeted support to pupils with additional needs within a KS1 mainstream classroom. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support pupils with EHCPs and those requiring additional academic, social or emotional support.

The Role:

Providing 1:1 and small group SEN support within a KS1 classroom

Supporting pupils with SEND, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and learning delays

The Ideal Candidate:

Experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant

Experience supporting children with additional or complex needs

Knowledge of EHCPs, inclusive practice and SEN strategies
