The Opportunity
A well-established and fast-growing organisation in the renewable energy sector is seeking an experienced Head of Sales to take full ownership of sales strategy, performance, and execution across all channels.
This is a senior, hands-on leadership role with responsibility for driving revenue growth, building scalable sales structures, and ensuring consistent delivery against ambitious targets as the business enters its next phase of growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Own and lead all sales activities across residential, commercial, and emerging sectors
• Develop and execute a clear sales strategy aligned with company growth plans
• Lead, coach, and performance-manage sales managers and sales teams
• Set sales targets, forecasts, and KPIs, ensuring accountability at all levels
• Work closely with marketing, operations, finance, and senior leadership to ensure smooth delivery from sale to install
• Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and routes to market
• Improve sales processes, CRM usage, reporting, and pipeline visibility
• Play a key role in shaping pricing, margin protection, and deal governance
• Be a visible leader, setting standards for professionalism, integrity, and customer experience
About You
• Proven experience in a Head of Sales / Sales Director / Senior Sales Leadership role
• Strong background in B2C and/or B2B sales (renewables, construction, energy, or technical services preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to scale sales teams and systems
• Commercially astute with strong forecasting and reporting capability
• Confident managing senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Hands-on leader who leads from the front while building long-term capability
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment
