Role Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and professional Support Professional to provide high quality, person centred support to individuals with a range of needs. The role focuses on promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing while supporting individuals to live fulfilling and meaningful lives within their community.
Key Responsibilities
Provide person centred support in line with individual care and support plans
Assist individuals with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and household duties (where required)
Support individuals to access the community, attend appointments, and engage in social and recreational activities
Promote independence, choice, and inclusion at all times
Build positive, professional relationships with individuals, families, and colleagues
Maintain accurate records and report any concerns in line with company policies
Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and confidentiality procedures
Work collaboratively as part of a wider support team
Essential Skills & Attributes
Caring, patient, and respectful approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, flexible, and professional attitude
Basic literacy and IT skills for record keeping
Commitment to equality, diversity, and person centred care
Desirable
Previous experience in a support, care, or health related role
Relevant qualifications (e.g. Health & Social Care certification)
Full UK driving licence
(Full training and ongoing support will be provided)
