Summary
Jig and Fixture Designer required for a mechanical design and production organisation.
Skills
Assembly fixture and tooling Design experience.
3D SolidWorks CAD.
GDandT & its applications.
Rubber to metal bonding knowledge.
ATF16949 or APQP.
Role
Design simple hand operating fixtures and complex automated multifunction fixtures including rubber and polymer moulds.
SolidWorks parametric modelling, assembly and 2D drawing.
Support Assembly tooling and Fixtures in production.
3D printing prototypes and low volume fixtures.
Work closely with the engineering and operations departments ensuring quality and manufacturability of design.
