Summary

General Cover Teacher – Day-to-day supply from as soon as possible These flexible opportunities are ideal for General Cover Teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different secondary school settings in Cambridge and the surrounding areas.Duties as General Cover Teacher:

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects and year groups
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and engagement
• Support pupils with their learning and encourage participation
• Liaise with school staff to ensure smooth handovers

Ideal General Cover Teacher:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Confident teaching across KS3 and KS4 in a range of subjects
• Strong classroom management and adaptability
• Reliable, flexible, and professional as a General Cover Teacher
• Able to quickly build rapport with pupils and staff
• Experience in secondary settings preferred but not essential
