Summary
Children’s Home Manager – Liverpool
We are recruiting an experienced and passionate Children’s Home Manager to join a well-established residential care home in Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with leadership experience in residential childcare, safeguarding, and youth care management.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the daily operations of the children’s home, ensuring high-quality residential care.
Lead, mentor, and support a team of care staff to deliver a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for children.
Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations, safeguarding procedures, and health & safety standards.
Maintain accurate records, manage budgets, and liaise with social workers, families, and external stakeholders.
Promote positive outcomes for children, including emotional wellbeing, education, and personal development.
Requirements:
Proven experience in residential childcare management or children’s home leadership.
Strong team leadership, staff management, and communication skills.
Knowledge of Ofsted standards, safeguarding legislation, and care planning.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent preferred.
