Summary
Vehicle Technician
Location: Gloucester
Salary: £33,000 - £41,000 basic depending on skills and experience, £45,000 OTE (Uncapped bonus based on efficiency).
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours with Saturday mornings on rota
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Vehicle Technician to join our clients workshop based in Gloucester. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles. Vehicle Technician responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues
- Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used
- Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Keep up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques
Vehicle Technician requirements:
- We are ideally looking for a fully qualified Vehicle technician with Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance, however this is not essential
- At minimum you must have Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance and you must be able to provide certificates
- You must have at least two years of full-time experience as a Vehicle Technician
- Must hold a full UK driving licence
