Summary
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Operative to work within a warehouse and join our team in the returns department, based out of the North Hykeham.
This is a hands-on role that requires physical strength due to heavy lifting, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely handling of returned items. Manually lifting onto expection tables (Goods can be large and weigh up to 50kg)
• Use hand scanners and computer system to accurately process returns.
• Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment.
• Using attention to detail to inspect and assess items for damages and/or faults and log correctly.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times
• Work efficiently as part of a team to meet daily targets.
or the role we require the following;
• Prior warehouse experience is beneficial but not required.
• Comfortable performing tasks involving heavy lifting and manual handling.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Able to operate hand-held scanners (training will be provided if necessary).
• Dependable, punctual, and works well within a team environment.
long term ongoing temp - perm role.
Monday - Friday
9 Hour shifts
0700 - 1600
1 hour break
Starting wage £12.61 p/h (£504 per week)
Weekly Pay
28 days annual leave pro-rata
