Summary

We are looking for a Children's Social Worker to join a Specialist Adolescents Team.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years equivalent post qualified experience in permanent contract/s.

About the team

This team is responsible for dealing with the most vulnerable and in need of protection young people in the borough. Working proactively, to complete C+F assessments, CIN plans and court work when needed. The team use contextual safeguarding approach to ensure best outcomes.

About you

A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience in permanent contracts is essential in order to be considered for this position. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in children's frontline safeguarding Social Work team as well as key experience in initial court proceedings. A valid UK driving licence and vehicle are essential for this role.
