Summary
We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Trainee Marine Surveyor. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the marine industry, with no prior experience required. The role involves travelling across the UK and Ireland to conduct surveys on various cargoes from steel products, machinery to fresh produce, with office-based hours from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. However, due to the nature of the work, surveys may take place on weekends, early mornings, or late evenings, so flexibility is key. You will be required to work unsocial hours while on survey.
Whilst no experience is necessary, we do require strong communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to write clear, concise reports.
A full UK driving licence is essential
A company car will be provided after the probation period, or you can use your own vehicle and receive mileage payments (for work-related travel only).
All staff receive health insurance after probation.
