Your new company
Hays Education is working in partnership with a high school in Burnley to recruit a committed KS4 Teaching Assistant to start immediately. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young learners and helping them achieve their full potential.
Your new role
In this role, you will provide support across whole classes in Key Stage 4, working closely with teachers to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment. You will also deliver targeted interventions for pupils with lower-level abilities, ensuring they receive the additional help they need to progress. Your responsibilities will include assisting with classroom management, supporting small groups, and offering one-to-one guidance where required.
What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for someone with experience working with secondary-aged pupils, ideally within KS3 or 4. Strong communication skills, the ability to engage and motivate students, and a proactive, flexible approach are essential for success in this role.
