Our home in Melton Mowbray provides Residential, Dementia, and Respite care for 88 residents, and we take pride in our values-led, supportive culture.

What You’ll Do: Responsibility on Every Shift
As a Bank Kitchen Assistant, you’ll take ownership of your tasks and contribute to the smooth running of the kitchen. Key responsibilities include:
- Food Preparation: Assist with meal prep, helping the team get dishes ready efficiently and to a high standard
- Kitchen Cleanliness: Keep your area and equipment clean and hygienic, ensuring a safe working environment
- Delivery Handling: Receive, check, and store deliveries safely and correctly
- Food Safety: Follow food hygiene and safety procedures, maintaining high standards
- Storage & Organization: Keep supplies and equipment tidy, stored safely, and ready for use
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to support the smooth running of the kitchen
- Professionalism: Act courteously and professionally, contributing to a positive, respectful workplace
- Health & Safety: Follow safe working practices at all times
About You
Skills: Organised, attentive to detail, and able to follow instructions accurately
Knowledge: Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene principles
Experience: Previous kitchen or food preparation experience is helpful but not essential
Teamwork: Able to work collaboratively, supporting the team and contributing positively
Learning: Open to gaining new culinary skills and experience in a professional kitchen
