SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Winson Green, B18 Birmingham
Pay Rate: £105 - 115
Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)

Contract: Long-Term, Temp to Perm
Are you experienced in supporting children with SEND and ready for a rewarding new challenge? A welcoming primary school in the Winson Green area is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis.
You'll be working closely with a small group of children with a range of needs, providing a mix of 1:1 and small group support to help them flourish.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Providing tailored 1:1 support to children with additional needs
- Leading small group interventions within the SEND hub
- Supporting emotional regulation, communication and social development
- Working alongside the SENCO and class teacher to deliver individual learning plans
- Promoting independence in a nurturing, structured environment
What We're Looking For:
- A level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent within a related subject
- Previous experience supporting children with SEND (school or specialist setting)
- Confident working with a range of needs, including ASD and speech/language needs
- Calm, patient and resilient - with a genuine passion for helping children thrive
- Relevant training or qualifications (Team Teach, PECS, Makaton) are a bonus
