We are looking for a reliable and friendly PA to provide support to an elderly gentleman in the village of Newick, which has it’s own village shop, bakery, pharmacy and doctor’s surgery. The role involves helping with daily routines, medication, shopping, and light household tasks

Morning Support (5 days per week, 1 hour each) flexible timing between 8.45am & 11am:
- Assist with medication.
- Drive to the local shop.
- Dispose of any mouldy food in the kitchen.
- Discuss and plan meals for the day (breakfast, lunch, dinner).
- Help choose a film to watch (an understanding of how to use SKY would be good)
- If time allows, complete light household tasks (e.g., washing up).

Weekly Shopping (1 day per week, 2 hours):
- Same as above, but instead of the local shop, drive to the supermarket in Uckfield (14 mins drive) for weekly groceries.

Cleaning & Laundry (1 hour per week):
- General cleaning and laundry tasks (timing flexible).

Duties include:
- Medication prompting/administering
- Other relevant duties as required
- Housekeeping
- Shopping
- Transportation
- Companionship

Candidate qualities:
- Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
- Reliable with good timekeeping
- Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
- Hygienic, tidy and well organised
- Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
- Honest and cheerful
- Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
- Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
