About the role

We're looking for a Lead Support Worker to join our team in Haverhill. This is a full-time role of 37.5 hours per week, paying £13.55 per hour. A full UK manual or automatic driving licence is essential.

You'll support adults with learning disabilities and autism across eight individual flats, helping each person live life their way. People you support range in age from 30 to 80, with varied interests such as church visits, sensory sessions, shopping trips, zoo outings, and evening discos. Support is usually 1:1, with occasional 2:1, so flexibility is key.

As Lead Support Worker, you'll lead by example, coaching and mentoring colleagues, ensuring rotas and records are accurate, and supporting with incident reporting and quality assurance. You'll also attend meetings, promote best practice, and embed our values in everything you do. Alongside leadership responsibilities, you'll provide hands-on support, including personal care, medication administration, and meal planning.

About you

You're an experienced support worker ready to step up, with strong communication skills and confidence using systems. You'll be calm under pressure, organised, and committed to person-centred support. A full UK driving licence is essential, and you'll need to work flexibly across varied shifts. If you share our values and want to make everyday matter, we'd love to hear from you.
