Summary
Start 2026 with purpose as a Support Worker in Radstock (BA3)
Location: Radstock, BA3 (Just 7 mins from Dragonfly Leisure Midsomer Norton)
Pay Rate: £14.21 per hour + £50 per sleep-in shift
Hours: Full-Time (37.5 Hours Per Week)
Shifts Available:
- Long Day with Sleep-In: 9:00 AM - 9:00 AM (next day)
- 2:1 Support: 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM (daily), 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM (Thursdays)
- Sleep-In Shifts: 1-2 per week
Driver Requirement: Auto-friendly licence essential

Who Will You Be Supporting?- A gentleman in his 30s with autism, a learning disability, and sensory processing difficulties
- Has a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plan in place (training provided)
- Support is primarily 1:1, with 2:1 support every day between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM
His Interests Include:
- Cycling with support staff
- Swimming and archery
- Walks, shopping trips, and days out
- Holidays to the Forest of Dean
- Hot tubs and outdoor activities
- Sensory contact and being part of conversations
He's sociable, loves a good laugh, and enjoys feeling included. His family is very involved and visits regularly.
What Will You Be Doing?- Personal Care: Supporting daily routines and hygiene
- Promoting Independence: Encouraging choice and autonomy
- Supporting Behavioural Needs: Following a PBS plan and using positive strategies (training provided)
- Planning Activities: Creatively supporting new experiences and community engagement
- Building Relationships: Creating safety, trust, and consistency
- Working Collaboratively: Communicating with family and professionals
