Summary


We are seeking a proactive and experienced Facilities Supervisor to join our Community South team. This is a key leadership role, responsible for overseeing up to 20 Facilities Assistants across a range of inpatient and outpatient mental health services.
You will ensure that facilities operations run smoothly, supporting safe, clean, and compliant environments for patients and staff. This includes managing rotas, audits, and site coordination, while providing essential oversight for staff working early shifts and as lone workers.

Provide day-to-day supervision and leadership for up to 20 Facilities Assistants across multiple inpatient and outpatient sites within Community South.
Ensure facilities operations run smoothly, maintaining safe, clean, and compliant environments for patients, staff, and visitors.
Manage and monitor rotas, ensuring fair allocation of shifts and compliance with working time directives.
Oversee audits, site coordination, and regulatory compliance, including infection control standards.
Act as the first point of contact for staff working early shifts and as lone workers, ensuring health and safety protocols are followed.
Support staff development, morale, and retention through effective communication and guidance.
Liaise with clinical teams and other departments to maintain service continuity and resolve operational issues promptly.
Travel between sites as required to provide on-site supervision and support (full UK driving licence essential).

Responsible for overseeing Facilities Services being actively involved at Supervisory level to ensure a professional, skilled and knowledgeable workforce is maintained whilst working within Policy.

Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment.
