Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
To support a child with a physical disability on a long-term, temporary basis
We are seeking a hard-working, nurturing and positive teaching assistant, to support a pupil with physical and learning needs in school. The successful candidate should:
• Have exceptional communication skills and the ability to build a supportive relationship with the pupil you are assigned to
• Have patience, empathy and a can-do attitude
• Be caring
• Be a team player
The hours will be Monday to Friday, 8.45am – 3.15pm during the term-time only. This is along-term position, but candidates need to know that the position is linked to a specific child, and as such the post will continue while the child remains at our school and requires this level of support.The child is expected to stay in our school for 3 more years.
