Hybrid role, Care / Support Worker
Travel time paid at NMW between calls
Mileage paid at 45p per mile
£12.80 per hour
Enhancement on Christmas and New Year
Full time, part time available
Long stays for Support Worker; 1-14 hours
Responsibilities:
Provide personal care and support to individuals in their homes, following care plans and support from senior colleagues
Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. We cover all kinds of support, from housework to budgeting
Drive clients to appointments or outings as needed
Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
Qualifications / Requirements:
Valid driver's licence & own vehicle
Ability to provide compassionate care
Strong communication skills in English
Basic literacy skills for documentation and communication
Experience in care preferred but not essential
Must be reliable, patient, happy to both work alone and in a team
Experience preferred but not essential as full, paid training is provided.
