About the role…
As a Commercial Graduate, you’ll step into a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you’ll build a strong foundation in commercial strategy and operations. Working within our Water & Infrastructure business, you’ll support experienced professionals on real projects from day one—gaining hands-on exposure to contract management, tendering, and commercial decision-making. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your commercial acumen, broaden your experience across multiple business areas, and play a key role in shaping the success of our projects.
As a Commercial Graduate you will…
Run weekly and monthly reports, assist with data analysis, and maintain internal databases to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
Support operations and finance teams with purchase orders and billing input into client systems, while ensuring invoices are raised correctly.
Manage subcontractor onboarding by issuing PQQ questionnaires, facilitating their return for internal checks, and ensuring proper setup on internal systems.
Hold review meetings with planners and project managers to assess WIP (Work in Progress), provide reports on outstanding items, and help resolve related queries.
Chase payment approvals once processed and reconcile monthly remittances to maintain financial accuracy.
Ensure all data is correctly inputted across systems and support the smooth flow of commercial information.
About you…
You’re a recent graduate in Business Management, Mathematics, Economics, or Quantity Surveying, ready to kick-start your career in a fast-paced commercial environment. With strong verbal and numerical reasoning, you’re confident working with data, interpreting insights, and supporting decision-making. You’re highly organised, detail-focused, and thrive under pressure—able to plan, prioritise, and meet tight deadlines. Comfortable with Microsoft Office and IT systems, you’re also a natural relationship-builder who enjoys working in a customer-focused setting.
