Operations Manager – Care Homes | Learning Disabilities & Complex Needs

You will take accountability for quality, compliance, and operational performance across a small portfolio of services supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. The role offers a £50,000 salary, car allowance, and bonus scheme.

What You’ll Need

  • Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in multi-site, operations, or regional management.
  • Background in specialist care (learning disabilities / complex needs).
  • Strong knowledge of compliance, governance, and safeguarding.
  • Confidence leading and supporting senior management teams.
  • Strong track record of service improvement and inspection success.
  • Commercial awareness within care operations.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee operational performance across multiple care home services.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC, safeguarding, and regulatory standards.
  • Support and challenge registered managers to maintain service quality.
  • Monitor KPIs, audits, and action plans across the region.
  • Drive continuous improvement and positive inspection outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, commissioners, and teams.
