Summary

Discover a Fulfilling Career: Become a Support Worker with Us!

If you’re someone who leads with kindness and truly wants to make a positive difference, we’d love to welcome you to MacIntyre in Flitwick as a Support Worker. This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week) with a variety of shift patterns - early mornings, afternoons, evenings, sleep-ins, and waking nights - across weekdays, weekends, and bank holidays.

You’ll become an important part of our close-knit bungalows, supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism. You'll bring your warmth and enthusiasm to each day, as well as your creativity and ambition to ensure the people who draw on our support can live gloriously ordinary lives.

A typical early shift might include helping Olivia* start her day feeling her best - supporting her with bathing, brushing hair, making breakfast, and medication when needed. You’ll also help her to enjoy the activities and adventures that mean most to her, so it's important that you can drive the service vehicles.

Our bungalows are friendly, welcoming spaces where new team members settle in quickly. You’ll be supported by experienced colleagues who are always happy to offer guidance, share their knowledge, and make sure you feel confident in your role.

If you’re inspired by helping others live their best lives, we’d be delighted to hear from you.

Please Note: We’re currently unable to offer sponsorships while we await updated guidance from the Home Office. Unfortunately, we cannot consider applications requiring sponsorship at this time. Thank you for your understanding.

About you
Of course we welcome you if you've been a care assistant or support worker, but experience isn’t necessary. If you share our values, are warm, friendly and willing to learn, you’re likely to be a great fit.

We’re looking for people who celebrate differences, and we strive to make all our staff feel included, valued and respected.

You must be a driver with a UK manual driving licence.
