Summary

Looking for a new part-time job for 2026 where you can really shine? We've got just the opportunity for you!

We're now on the look out for new colleagues to join our #TeamBordersCS team on a permanent (10, 16 or 30 hours per week) and relief basis. We have services in the Galashiels, Earlston, Hawick, Jedburgh and St Boswells areas.

The Role

This role will give you lots of job satisfaction; no two days are ever the same, you’ll play a HUGE part in making a difference in the lives of the individuals we support.

You'll support individuals living with disabilities and/or additional support needs with all aspects of their daily living, including personal care, medication, housework and preparing food. You’ll also support them to reach their goals, participate in their hobbies and activities and play an active part in their local communities.

About You

You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and transferrable skills and will give you all the paid training you'll need if you're successful. We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees too!

Shift Patterns

As we're dedicated to providing the best support, tailored to the needs of each individual our shifts patterns usually fall between the hours of 0700-1900 hours, weekends and public holidays would form part of your rota on a rotational basis.

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.
