We are looking for a kind, reliable, and practical Personal Assistant to help with daily living and to share some of the activities the individual enjoys. The role includes a mix of personal care, household tasks, and companionship, so it would suit someone who enjoys being active and sociable.
He is looking for a PA who can come in three times a day to help get dressed on a morning, then come back to make something to eat at lunchtime and the final visit on an evening to make dinner and to help him get undressed and ready for bed. There will also be times that he would like to go out with the PA so the use of your own car is required.
It is very important to find someone friendly, dependable, and patient, who enjoys helping others and shares some similar interests.
The individual experiences seizures, so ideally the Personal Assistant will have had seizure training or be willing to undertake seizure training.
Support is also needed once a week with bringing food shopping deliveries into the house and putting items away.
The individual has a beloved cat, so the right Personal Assistant must be comfortable around cats. Time will also be used each week to go out into the community, either by car or for a short walk, so use of the Personal Assistant’s own car is essential.

- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and one day a month taking him to London so he can participate in his passion of WCMX(wheelchair motor cross)
- Support in engaging with social and recreational activities to enhance quality of life.
