Location: Dunstable / Luton
Pay: £12.50–£14.00 per hour
Shifts: Days, Nights & Weekends (flexibility required)
Sponsorship: Not available (we cannot offer sponsorship or accept 20-hour visas)
About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and flexible Support Worker to join our dedicated care team. In this rewarding role, you will provide person-centred support to individuals in both supported living environments and private homes, helping them maintain independence, dignity, and an excellent quality of life.
Your support will empower individuals to thrive, engage in their community, and feel valued every day.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality personal care, including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
Support clients with daily walks, activities, and community outings to encourage independence
Offer emotional support, companionship, and clear, respectful communication
Administer medication safely and monitor client wellbeing
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs
Follow and implement behavioural support strategies
Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment
Drive clients to appointments, activities, and community engagements
Keep accurate written records and communicate concerns promptly to healthcare professionals
Essential Skills & Experience
Previous experience in supported living or similar care settings
Understanding of Autism, ADHD, and behaviours that may be challenging
PMVA training
Confidence in managing behaviour and applying appropriate support techniques
Excellent communication skills—able to communicate clearly, calmly, and compassionately with clients, families, and colleagues
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusting relationships
Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team
A valid UK driving licence (essential for transporting clients)
