Summary
Clinical Governance- To comply with the Health & Safety Policies of the Trust including attendance atmandatory training sessions as specified by the Trust.- To comply with departmental and organisational policies and procedures.- Ensure all accidents, incidents and hazards are reported and dealt with accordingto Trust requirements.- To comply with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy standards and rules ofprofessional conduct.- To be responsible for maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient treatmentrecords in line with Trust and Departmental Standards of Practice.- To ensure treatments offered to patients are based on best available clinicalevidence.- To comply with the Data Protection Act and Caldicott recommendations.- To participate in Clinical Audit as appropriate in each speciality area under thesupervision of a Senior Therapist.- To gain valid informed consent in line with Trust and departmental policy.- To identify clinical risk within own patient case-load and liaise with SeniorTherapist for appropriate support.- To be responsible for maintaining own competency to practice through CPDactivities and maintain a portfolio which reflects personal development.- Assist with the induction and training of new staff and students assigned to theteam.- To actively participate in the In-Service training programmes
