Summary
We require the successful candidate to have an existing SIA licence or at least have the training in place in order to apply for the licence. CCTV licence is proffered but not essential as training can be given.
You must be proficient in the use of Outlook, Excel, Word, be able to copy and paste, use an internet browser, send an email, as a minimum and must be able to work with Multiple Tabs on multiple screens. (this may be tested on interview and before screening).
A full driving licence is proffered but not essential.
the successful candidate must remain flexible as the site self covers, the shift pattern is 4 on 4 off so being available for Days, Nights and Weekends is a must.
We are looking for an organised, efficient, and experienced Control Room Operator to join our security team for Mitie Business Services. You will be working within a supportive team to maintain and monitor CCTV, intruder, and fire alarm panels.
Your key responsibilities will include assisting with daily operational requirements - ensuring compliance and accurate recording of incidents to outline identified risks. As part of your role, you will be required to escalate incidents, report Health and Safety concerns, and respond to emergency situations also producing accurate reports to ensure alarms are efficiently responded to.
Our ideal candidate will have awareness of the law across, The Private Security Industry, Health and Safety for the Private Security Operative, Fire Safety, Technology and Systems in the Security environment and Emergency Procedures.
