Summary

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist to join the acute rotations at Broomfield Hospital. The successful candidate will commence in the orthopedic rotation to support an new elective trauma and orthopedic ward.

You will be part of an agile, friendly, highly motivated team of therapists working within multidisciplinary teams delivering rehabilitation to, and discharge planning for in-patients and outpatients in various settings.

You will be responsible for assessing, treating and clinically managing patients with a range of conditions; creating the treatment program required to achieve a successful discharge.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for the provision of Physio or Occupational therapy in the acute setting.

If successful, some of your duties will include:

Assessing and treating own caseload of patients as an autonomous practitioner.

Maintaining appropriate communications and associated records working as part of the multidisciplinary team.

Providing a high quality of treatment to all patients

Demonstrating a commitment to continued development of skills and knowledge through CPD, training and involvement in the rotation scheme.

Demonstrating ability to clinically supervise the practice of assistants.

You will be working within integrated teams of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Therapy Assistants, supported by Advanced therapists in all areas.
