Summary

We're seeking a qualified and dedicated Early Years Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive nursery team. This permanent, full-time role offers the chance to make a lasting impact on the development of young children. What You'll Be Doing:

  • Assist with planning and delivering engaging learning opportunities for children based on the EYFS.

  • Create a nurturing environment where children feel safe, happy, and motivated to learn.

  • Build strong, trusting relationships with children and families, promoting confidence and independence.

  • Help maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene during mealtimes and throughout the day.

  • Record and track children's progress, contributing to assessments and reporting as required.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (mandatory).

  • Prior experience working with children aged 0-5 in a nursery or early years setting.

  • A positive and proactive approach, with the ability to encourage and support children's learning and development.

  • Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and EYFS.
