Summary
Mechanical Fitter – Hebburn (Short-Term Contract)
Start Date: January 2026 (Exact date TBC)
We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter for a short-term contract based in Hebburn.
Role Requirements:
Proven mechanical fitting experience
Shipyard experience preferred, particularly working with valves and thrusters
NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Fitting (or equivalent) preferred
Ability to work to a high standard in an industrial/marine environment
Rates of Pay (CIS or Umbrella):
Basic: £22 per hour
OT1: £33 per hour
OT2: £44 per hour
Working hours: TBC
