Summary

FLT Counterbalance Driver

Runcorn | £13.79 per hour | Rotational AM & PM Shifts | Ongoing Temporary

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie are recruiting a careful and confident FLT Counterbalance Driver on an ongoing temporary basis for their client based on the Whitehouse Industrial Estate in Runcorn.

This is a Monday to Friday role offering stable hours, paid breaks, enhanced overtime rates, and a friendly working environment.

Key Duties

  • General FLT and warehouse duties.

  • Booking stock in and out using a computerised system.

  • Loading and unloading deliveries.

  • Picking and packing orders.

  • Using a headset system for communication purposes.

  • Carrying out hygiene and housekeeping duties.

Please note: trucks operate with double forks. Experience is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.

Requirements

  • Valid RTITB or ITSSAR Counterbalance licence, refreshed within the last 3 years.

  • Previous experience operating counterbalance trucks.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.

  • Computer literate.

  • Keen eye for detail and a flexible, practical, hardworking approach.

Hours of Work

  • Rotational shift pattern, Monday to Friday only (no weekends).

  • Earlies:

    • Monday to Thursday: 6am-2pm.

    • Friday: 6am-1pm.

  • Lates:

    • Monday to Thursday: 2pm-10pm.

    • Friday: 1pm-8pm.

  • Total of 39 hours per week.

  • Overtime available and paid at an enhanced rate.

  • All breaks are paid.
