Summary
Firm has transitioned from a small founder-led practice into a fast-growing regulated immigration advisory firm, with increasing enquiry volumes, broader client demographics, and opportunities for institutional partnerships and external capital. While the Director, Ted, provides the firm’s regulated immigration expertise and client delivery, the next phase of growth requires a dedicated senior commercial and investment professional to structure scale-up strategy, attract and manage external investment, formalise partnerships, and professionalise business development functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute firm-wide business growth and scale-up strategy, including new markets, service lines, and strategic partnerships
- Source, structure, and manage external investment, including HNW, family office, and institutional capital
- Lead investor relations, financial modelling, commercial forecasting, and funding negotiations
- Establish partnerships with overseas referral networks, corporates, and professional intermediaries
- Implement governance, reporting, and commercial controls to support sustainable expansion
- Advise the Director on capital allocation, risk management, and long-term strategic positioning
Required Skillset
1. Senior-level experience in business development, investment management, and financial strategy
2. Proven track record in capital raising, investor engagement, and asset management
3. Strong financial, analytical, and commercial negotiation skills
4. International business exposure, particularly across UK, Asia, and cross-border structures
5. Ability to operate independently at senior management level within a regulated professional services firm
